Why Support LIFT?

All of LIFT’s programs share a common goal: to empower those without counsel to successfully self-advocate in Family Court. Since 1996, LIFT has pioneered innovative, outcomes-driven, and cost-effective programs that offer opportunity and hope to families in need. We take great pride in our transparency and accountability, and measure our effectiveness regularly.

Your Donation Will Make an Impact

A donation of:

$10,000 will enable LIFT to launch an online Legal Education Program webinar series that will give unrepresented litigants far and wide access to free substantive legal information on a variety of family law topics.
$5,000 will help produce the next in our activity book series, Pat the Pigeon Has Two Nests, a child’s guide to custody and visitation.
$1,000 will provide two moms, dads, or grandparents access to comprehensive case management services at our Family Legal Center, empowering them to stand up for their families and successfully act as their own lawyers in Family Court.
$500 will sponsor one evening workshop on financial literacy, parenting skills, or healthy living – all of which provide critical skills and tools that can transforms lives.
$100 will enable a Resource Coordinator to link five fathers to job training and services, ensuring their ability to pay child support.
$50 will provide food and transportation for one Mothers Support Group meeting, a biweekly group that provides information, support, and strength to a community of mothers.
