LIFT Legal Resource Guides
LIFT distributes helpful Legal Resource Guides from our court-based Education & Information Sites located in the Family Court buildings in the Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Queens. Resource Guides are also available at all times in Staten Island Family Court.
LIFT recently partnered with the Literacy Action Center to ensure that all of our materials are written in a way so as to be accessible to the broadest range of Court users. This collaboration led to a change in language, though not content, of our twenty-five original Resource Guides.
The Resource Guides cover a wide range of family law and criminal law topics, and are currently available below in Chinese, English, Haitian/Creole, Korean, Russian and Spanish. During the coming year, we hope to have all of our Guides translated into each of these languages.
